We know who Jesus is, but do we know who we are? Do you have trouble knowing who you are because of what others say, think, or expect of you? Jesus has a word for you today. You are who God says you are!

Those people that are saying, thinking, expecting of you do not change who you are. Know that most people come against you because of the condemnation, conviction and/or hate in their hearts. The devil has convinced them that if they distract their circumstances by speaking ill of you that they would have some significance. They are not happy with harming just you, therefore they must harm the person they lying too and anyone in between.
This behavior is elevated by envy, hate, haste, and most of all fear. They feel so badly about what they do or have done to you, that if they could just discredit you they would feel better about what they have done. In their mind it gives them a REASON for their behavior.
No matter what we are accountable to God. There is never a reason... It is a choice.
Wrongs are never right.... In all things the devil attempts to attack you. In those moments it is up to you to SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW and say no. I will pray for them, I will intercede for them. It is not them coming against me it is the devil and he is not taking them or me down with somthing like this.
No matter how much they hurt your heart and feelings. Forgive them and pray for them. God will correct them, heal them and protect you and heal you.
Loving, kind, outgoing people are attacked most of all because of the anointing of the Lord they carry. Most know they can release on you because you will forgive them, and pray for them.
God does not call you to put up with this. God calls you to forgive and hand them to Him. It may be a season, moment or forever but if he wants you around one another He will make it happen. Otherwise move on and let them be.
Matthew 16:13-20 NIV
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
In these times they were saying the worse things about Jesus, and many did not know who He was. But no matter what they people that loved Him knew Him because they knew His heart. No matter what Jesus knew who He was. We must not get caught up in what others say, think or expect of us. I know it is hard because they can be very cruel. But when you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding He will clear it all up to those that matter.
