Jesus has a plan for us to prosper and succeed and sometimes we miss our blessing because we just do not see them. Show What You Know is great for a Bible Study or to help you learn how to study because it constantly refers you to God's word.
The Inheritance
The Inheritance is written by Jill L Deville inspired by Matthew 7:6 NIV 6 "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.Some hear this verse and blow through it, and some hear it and said been there, done that I am not sharing anything again. We must learn to look deeper. Jesus is teaching us here that not all dogs are bad, and that we should not give what is sacred to dogs or pigs.At first glance you may say Jesus who are you calling a dog or pig, right? But we need to understand, major setbacks in our lives are because we share to much, some things are meant to remain between you and God for a season or for good.In The Inheritance the Holy Spirit guided the writer to share how to protect your pearls and save them to pass on as an inheritance, not to just give them to people we love or that do not love us to trample on.
Armor Up
Armor up, will help you to dig deep with simplicity. It frees you from religion and chore lists that make you feel defeated on day one. You will learn to put on God's armor and how to use it with this book. We have the equipment, the instructions, the directions, the armor, the promises, the examples and the map to get to Heaven ( The Bible ). Now together we just need to learn how to use it! When you are aware of the armor on you, nothing can harm you.
Endure
That pain, rejection, worry, doubt, awkwardness, loneliness and fear will go away. Often perseverance and endurance appears like an attack from the enemy himself. Once you understand, activate, and acclimate to the wisdom and access of God, you will understand the baptism of Fire! With each circumstance or experience the flesh is being sacrificed and the spirit is being ignited! I know it truly hurts deep to the depths of your soul, causing you to feel like you are bleeding to death. Know this, the blood you feel is the blood of Jesus cleansing you!
No Place Like Heaven
No Place Like Heaven is inspired by my love of the Wizard of Oz, crazy right? What Pastor would see Jesus in such a movie? But I do. Jesus taught in parables and I want to excite you through this book to see Him in everything, not just church. He is everywhere all the time waiting to lead you down the narrow path that leads to that beautiful golden street in Heaven. The Bible teaches us the beauty of that path, the gates, and the eternal life waiting on us. (Revelations 21:21 "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass"). It is up to us to go down the narrow path by walking by faith not by sight like Dorothy. Renewing our mind like Scarecrow. Finding out how to have a heart for Christ & like Christ like the Tin Man. And to have courage to stay on the narrow path no matter how scary that may be like the Lion. We have the power through Christ Jesus to get to Heaven. We have to decide to use it for ourselves!
Eternally Ever After
When you think of the Disney Princesses and their Happily Ever After, you may forget what they endured first. As a toy collector, Jesus inspires me through these princesses with parables that relate to the Word of God. I know you may be thinking, umm or how? Let me intrigue you to find out! Snow White was faced with temptation with the apple, remind you of anyone? Snow White needed the prince to kiss her to wake up from her death/sleep. We are the same. We fall for temptation like Adam and Eve. We must die to sin and be reconciled with our Prince of Peace. Meaning, we must die to the flesh to wake up. The only way we can do this is through our access to Jesus Christ. I pray this has gotten your attention, there is more! These parables and messages help us to access our child like faith. Jesus insists that we have this child like faith in Matthew 18. The Word of God teaches us that we are children of God. This makes us daughters of the most high God. We are princesses! I pray through this book that you access that royalty status by learning more about your Father, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Then when we look in the mirror and when others see us, our features will show our Father beaming through us. This is how others will know who we are and who we are for. We are meant to have our Eternally Ever After !
A Sweet Aroma
When you think of the character Strawberry Shortcake, you think of the sweet aroma of her. That is what she and her friends are known for. As Christians we are to be that sweet aroma to Christ. The problem is we are wondering why we do not smell like berries and flowers. When I think of the smell of Jesus it brings to my understanding the birth, serving, teachings, journey, sacrifice, the three days in the tomb, and the resurrection. In Philippians 4:18-20, 2 Corinthians 2:15-17, and Ephesians 5:2 the Word of God expresses that our birth, serving, blood, sweat, and tears go to the Lord as our sacrifice and our offering. They are the sweet aroma, they are the smell of Jesus seeping through our flesh. The Lord gave me this parable of Strawberry Shortcake to remind us of the Fruit of the Spirit. In Matthew 7:15-20 Jesus reminds us that we will be known by our Fruit. There is only one Fruit, that is Jesus and He comes to reside in us. The only way others will know if Jesus is in us is to witness the evidence of that Fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 expresses that love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control is the evidence that Jesus is in us. Firm Foundation
A Firm Foundation is a parable of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. If you do not build your house on a solid foundation it will fall. This book tells a parable of the sower found in Matthew 13. There is a unique journaling option at the end to allow you to reflect on this message and to begin building your house on a Firm Foundation. Often we do not realize how easily our house can be blown down by the wolf (devil). This book is a non-fiction Christian book that is great for a bible study individually or as a group.
The New Batch
Who recalls the movie, the Gremlins? What would the Gremlins have to do with the Lord? Let me share with you. I love writing and speaking in parables like Jesus.. I love collecting toys, especially those from the 80's. As I fill up on the word of God, and reflect on the characters and story line, these messages come to me. These messages allow us to see the word of God in all things. Not that the movie has anything to do with God, but God gave me an example through it. As we are baptized and that water is applied we are to be fruitful and multiply. The gremlins did not become evil until they ate after midnight, much like our behavior changes when we eat of sinful ways in the darkness. When water was applied to the Gremlins they simply multiplied. When we are baptized we should multiply, and cause more to be drawn to the Lord through our attributes that God gifts us with from the Holy Spirit. I hope I have your curiosity to dig into this book, The New Batch!
Better Together
Better Together by Jill Deville. A parable about the Care Bears for Adults and Teens. At first it was the bellies in unity for me. When we are in unity in Christ, that is what we look like. Our light shines from our souls on one accord to God. Then I saw it, the Forest of Feelings and that was it! Do you need help out of the Forest of Feelings? The Israelites showed us what it was like to go through the Forest of Feelings ( Exodus 15:22 – Exodus 18:27). Jesus showed us what it was like to go through the Forest of Faith ( Matthew 4 & Matthew 1-28). God’s provisions daily are all that we need. The road map through that forest is the bible. It is packed with instructions, love letters, treasure hunts, promises, directions, and proof that God is able. I pray this book takes you on a new adventure to connect with Jesus in your everyday life. I pray that you receive peace that makes no sense and unspeakable joy in Jesus’s name amen.

What about the Holidays? Are they all Holy Days? Yes, they are! In Matthew chapter five Jesus teaches us to be the light. You can not go all out for Christmas, New Years, Mother's Day & Father's Day then judge someone during the fall. Jesus wants us to have it all. All dark places need light! That is where you come in. Jesus teaches us in Matthew chapter six that we should seek Him first and His right standing then all will be added to us. Every day is a Holy Day. You can break tradition and religious ways by celebrating Jesus in all things. Let's decide to truly be the light in the darkness.
