How Has Worry Helped You? By Jill Deville

Trade your worry for worship today.
Think of all the times you have worried. Did it make the matter better or worse?
We can not just shut worry off. Worry comes like a wave. Anxiety comes like a full on attack. It over takes you and nearly takes your breath away.
Often this happens when you seem to be having a great day. Then your heart starts to race and you get that lump in your throat.
It is as if you are receiving a warning from God before the attack. Then you begin to think or even say... something bad is fixing to happen. The worry kicks in, your chest starts to hurt, you become distracted and it changes your entire day and position.
Some seek help from the doctor. Some begin to call around checking on others and sharing the feelings creeping in. Some have medication on hand and take it.
These symptoms stay because you have not considered that you could be set free from them. You have accepted this is your generational curse, just you excuse, or you simply have just found a way to cope with it not giving much thought where it came from.
Most do not consider that they can be delivered from this. It seem impossible.
Jesus teaches us about our armor of God, access to the fruit of the spirit, and His healing touch. It seems for from us due to a disconnect on how to find that access button to freedom. True deliverance from this.
It is not because you do not believe. It is not because you want to feel this way. It is not because you bring it on yourself. You pray and rebuke it but yet here it comes again and again.
You may even have arrived in large huge things like faith in healing, and faith in defense. But this one area of worry seems to be there no matter what. It is a stronghold. It has to be surrendered with prayer, fasting, and works. Jesus teaches us this in the book of John, 1 John, and James.
Worship is a great way. You can worship with humming. You can worship by singing. You can worship by listening. Worship is known to work from the same part of the brain but it will over power it with song. A different signal is trigger in your brain in worship. A different signal is turned on to God and in sync with God when you worship. Scientist have shown this. Why do you think David clung to worship so dearly in the Psalms?
When the worry starts to begin, start to hum. When you walking in the store and get overwhelmed hum. When you waiting in line and you get impatient or overwhelmed from all the items you need to put on the belt, hum. You can hum lightly. You can hum to yourself. When you working and you have deadlines to reach that seem unreachable, hum.
(( you can also put worship music on your phone and pop an earbud in your ear)) I teach about humming because you going to need it when you can not have the worship music like in an MRI, at school, at work, when being wheeled into suregery, when you laying on the pavement because you just were in an accident, in court, in jail... you get the point humming can be with you everywhere.
I learned a fun little melody about 10 years ago and it has stuck in my brain. It is like my access button to God. I feel in sync with Him when I do this. It was a song that I heard in a group when I first truly turned 180 degrees to the Lord. That is a completely different decision than the one most of us make at first. When I heard this song I thought. This is ridiculous. It was like a child's song and it was a bit annoying. Then I found myself humming it when I began getting nervous or concerned without realizing I was doing it.
When I noticed how it worked I began to say it when things got real intense, or even a little intense. While trying to remember all the fruits of the spirit and the song it was like a huge shut off valve to my stress. It took an action. I had to get up and literally turn that flow of worry off. This is prayer, fasting, and works in one.
Your mouth is praying the song, your body is fasting (sacrificing the worry by deciding to hum, sing, or listen) Your action is to work for it and be set free.
The song goes like this. Peace is mine. Peace is mine. Peace today is mine. I told satan to get the behind me because Peace today is mine. Then I would say all the fruit of the spirit in the place of Peace. (Love, Joy, Faithfulness, Peace, Patience, Gentleness, Self-Control, Goodness, Kindness)
Sing it once? Hum it once? probally not. I would use this for everything at first when I became impatient. When I became worried. When I wanted to be mean back. When I wanted to control a matter. I decided to honor God and not myself. I decided to represent God and not the devil.
You can be set free from the worse worry and anxiety possible. I am living proof of that. But it did not come without prayer, fasting, and action in a work. Jesus is our Deliverer. He is the one setting you free. Not the prayer, fasting, or the works. But it is in your act of obedience that the two become one and you become in sync and one with Jesus. 1 Corinthians. Jesus says those that believe. Believe is an action not a knowing.
The verse found in Matthew is omitted from most bibles. Leaving many to wonder why is this worry still hear. Why is my prayer not being heard? What is going wrong with me?
Matthew 17:21 NKJV (( CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR BIBLE HAS IT )))
21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

FROM JESUS TO YOU TODAY.
Matthew 6:25-34 Amplified Bible The Cure for Anxiety
25 “Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by worrying can add one [a]hour to [the length of] his life? 28 And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin [wool to make clothing], 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32 For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
LOVE YOU BIG
