Are You Busy?? Are You Too Busy???
Did you know the enemy tosses out blessings as well? These are handcrafted blessing produced by self that seem to be great, grand, exciting, and the best opportunities you have waited and could ever dream of; surely God sent them??!!
Meanwhile your family is being set on the backburner, your marriage is dull, and your children are being entertained by the devil himself in their phone, tablet, tv, games, or friend circle!
Luke 10:38-42 ESV
Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
Mary had the right idea, the opportunity she had been waiting for had arrived and nothing was going to separate her from that moment with Jesus. Martha was equally excited for the opportunity but she got so caught up in serving Jesus that she did not get to share that time with Jesus.
This happens to so many in Ministry and so many Christians. They spend so much time serving God that they forget to spend time with God. It is not the same. Yes He wants you to serve Him, but He also wants to hear all about your experience from you. He does not want to hear you grumbling to others about how tired you are and and He does not want to here how great you are at it. He wants to hear how YOUR DAY was and Tell YOU about HIS day.
If you finding yourself busy like Martha, and if it is tearing up your marriage, home, children it is not from God. It is a distraction from the devil to take your children, home, marriage, joy from you. Do not accept the invite from the devil too and say... they so selfish I am finally doing well, I am finally getting to do somthing for me and now they can not stand it because I am not waiting on them.
If the opportunity and the blessings in your growth is from God, He would not allow it to tear up other things you prayed for, worked at, and endured for and with Him already.
You have to learn to stand in faith and stop and say ok Lord, I am noticing things are falling apart over here. Give me wisdom, understanding and balance to be the best that I can be in all areas of my life in Jesus name amen.
Trust in Him. I know it is scary because you want to finally go to this event here, and be known here, and enjoy a friend there, and do this thing you finally got the chance to do there. But is it worth your family, marriage, children, joy? God would not make you choose. That is a trick from the pits of hell.
When you decide to stand firm in the Lord He will guide you. He is the maker of time. He will go in to the depths of the matter, and all the people within it and go organize and fight for you.
Sure you may have some trade offs, and it may feel like a sacrifice of the flesh, but when you trust in the Lord with this and give it to Him to organize He will give you all your hearts desires. His word promises us this..
And for all of you that sit idle for your children, marriage, family.. Rise up.. God would not want that for you either. He says when you seek Him first you can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens you... so Rise up... Dream.... stick your foot in the water and see how wonderful it is to do somthing for you too.
