Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

When you are working for the Lord, do you grow weary? When you working to take care of your household, do you get tired? God says in all things do them for the Lord. Do you get so weary or prideful that you forget that source comes from and should be for Him? (((1 Corinthians 1-3 Chapters))) Often we get so caught up in the routine of it all that we forget who we doing it for and what we doing it for?

In Deed

  • Maybe we started out saying, I need to catch up, bills are behind.

  • Maybe we had a goal to pay off debt.

  • Maybe we wanted to save for a trip or a car.

  • Maybe we wanted to impress our boss, co-workers, spouse because we just got the job.

In Word

  • Maybe we began to serve & was so excited to help, teach, be there.

  • Maybe we wanted to prove we were good enough

  • Maybe we wanted to prove we have changed.

  • Maybe we wanted to do all we could for the Lord because we realized how good and how much He done for us.

Have you ever considered, what bait was used on you??? You see each day the Lord and the devil go fishing. God uses bait that will attract, teach, guide, remind us of our plans, hopes, future, options. (Jeremiah 29:11 & John 14:6). The devil uses bait that will distract us from our hopes, plans, future. (John 10:10,Luke 22:31,1 Peter 5:8 ) This can even look like friends, children, family, people that are demanding of your time with texting every time they see you on line or holding you up somewhere. Your Heart and Mind process the information based on your faith.

Examples:

  • You may see somthing you like, want to do, and have hope in.

  • You may see somthing somone else has, does or has achieved.

The devil will defeat you and make you feel small as if you can not do it, achieve it, or should not even consider it. He will make you feel jealous, mad, hurt. He will send others to share that you are weak, lazy, unable, uneducated, to young, to old. But you have the option to listen to that or not. He will go on to bring in hate, envy, settling, control, anger, pity. How do you know you falling for the devil and believe in him? You are idle and listening to him. Anger, stillness, hate, envy, competition, gossip, lies and over working or working in your own authority is showing through your actions and reactions. You feel you got to get pity or power in pride to get access.

The Lord will lift you up, build you up, show you others doing what you want, need, can do. You meant to see them and have hope, example, and a new prayer walk. You are not meant to compete, or get envious. The Lord will bring people around you to lift you up, encourage you and down right tick you off... to motivate you and get you out of your head and into your heart. The greatest achievers in life got upset with someone and decided to work hard to prove they could do it. In their anger they did not sin, they tapped into their potential. Decide to use what the enemy brings against you. Use what God baits you with to power you up in God's Authority. God knows if He must allow you to see something you want bad to get you off that coach or get you out that routine, safe or dead-end job. Do not forget that and do not give that to the devil!!!!!!!

Do not forget what you working hard for. You may work day in and day out to provide for your family, but never want or have time to spend time with your family. If that is happening now, that is not of God, that is of you. God would not do that to you. God would give you that time. You either working on your own authority or baited to be stuck in a routine by the devil to loose your memories, life, family and more.

Do not forget what you serving the Lord for. You may start off helping, loving, giving, and eager. Then find yourself weary because people just aggravate you, and the work for Him makes you weary. God did not ask you to do that. God would not make you weary. God wants you to enjoy serving Him. God does not want you to be god.

In Revelations 2, We are addressed by God when He speaks to the church as a whole and individually. He says you lost your first love, the love for me. He goes on to say I see all you do for me, but you do not love me. We may start off with the best of intentions and then end up with the worst and never see God. Meanwhile you also loose the very people, places, and things you work so hard for. We have to choose this day whom we will serve. We have to choose boundaries and ask for wisdom and understanding not to get lost in it. God is our provider, not us. When we know this and believe this we will show it in our daily behavior ((( our actions and reactions ))). Stop saying I and focus on the Great I AM!

EXODUS 3:14

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' ” God said to Moses, “I-AM-WHO-I-AM.
